In accordance with the Act no. 402/2013 Coll., on Authority for Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services and on Transport Authority, to alter and to amend some other acts, as amended, the Transport Authority has been established as a legal successor of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Slovak Republic, the State Navigation Administration and the Railway Regulatory Authority with effect from January 1, 2014.
At the same time, all rights and obligations, powers and scope of authority of the above mentioned dissolved bodies of the state administration shift to the Transport Authority.
